目黒国際俳句の集いは30年も続いています。時々海外からの俳句をする人たちがやってきて、一緒にツアーもします。私が東京にいた時には、芭蕉庵、子規庵、そして北鎌倉へも出かけました。なぜ北鎌倉か?

そこには禅を紹介した鈴木大拙やブライスの墓があるからです。お墓の前でこんなに嬉しそうな団体も珍しいですよね(笑)。

 

The Meguro International Haiku gathering has continued for 30 years. Occasionally people who haiku from overseas come and tour together. When I was in Tokyo, I went to Basho-an, Shiki-an, and Kita-Kamakura. Why Kita Kamakura?  There are Daisetsu Suzuki and Bryce graves introducing Zen. It's rare to find a group that looks so happy in front of the grave (laughs).
