会場は国指定の名勝「無鄰菴(むりんあん)」。七代目小川治兵衛の作庭家・山縣有朋の別荘で、東山に残る数少ない別荘として一般公開されています。現在は京都市の所有で、ここの母屋二階で京都と東京の俳画教室の作品が並びました。

打ち上げは先斗町の高床へ移動。前日がまさに中秋の名月で、食事会と月見を楽しみました。

The venue is Murin-an, a nationally designated scenic spot. This is the villa of Aritomo Yamagata, the seventh generation gardener of Jihei Ogawa, and is open to the public as one of the few remaining villas in Higashiyama, Kyoto. Currently owned by Kyoto City, works from haiga classes in Kyoto and Tokyo are displayed on the second floor of the main building.

The launch was moved to a raised platform in Pontocho. The previous day was the perfect harvest moon, and we enjoyed a dinner party and moon viewing.
